Why Slow and Steady is the Only Fitness Advice You'll Ever Need

If you've landed here feeling overwhelmed, not knowing where to start, or exhausted from trying every diet and workout plan out there — you're in the right place. I'm Bianca, a holistic online fitness coach for women, and the number one thing I want you to know is this: slow and steady genuinely wins the race. Every single time.

The problem with quick fixes

We live in a world that sells us transformation in 30 days. Six week shred programmes. Cutting out entire food groups. Punishing workout schedules that leave you burnt out within a month. And the reason most women come to me having already tried all of that? Because it doesn't work. Not long term. Quick fixes might get you short term results, but they're not sustainable. They don't fit into real life. And more often than not, they leave you feeling worse about yourself than when you started.

What actually works

Sustainable fitness isn't sexy. It doesn't make for a viral before and after photo. But it changes your life in ways that a six week shred never could. Here's what I focus on with every single one of my clients. No restriction — we don't cut out food groups, we don't obsess over calories, and we never label food as good or bad. Balance is everything. Strength training — this is the thing I wish every woman knew. Strength training is how you see real, lasting results. It builds muscle, boosts your metabolism, makes you feel powerful and confident, and supports your long term health in ways that cardio alone simply cannot. Working with your body — especially as women, our bodies change throughout the month, throughout different life stages, and through experiences like pregnancy, post-natal recovery, perimenopause and beyond. A good fitness plan works with those changes, not against them. Consistency over intensity — three balanced workouts a week done consistently will always beat seven brutal sessions that leave you too exhausted to move.

Where do I start?

This is the question I hear most from women who come to me. And the answer is always the same — start simple, start sustainable, and don't try to change everything at once. That's exactly what my 1-1 online coaching programme is built around. We start with where you are right now, build a personalised training and nutrition plan that fits your life, and take it one step at a time. No quick fixes. No restriction. Just real, sustainable progress that actually lasts. If you're ready to stop starting over and finally build a fitness routine that works for you, I'd love to work with you.
